Delete your account or data

1. Delete your account in the app

   Open Kivo and go to Profile › Delete my account (at the bottom of Profile), then confirm. Your account and all its data are deleted immediately: food log, workouts, weigh-ins, body measurements, coach messages, goals and settings.

   Want a copy first? Use Profile › Export my data before you delete.

2. Can’t open the app?

   Email privacy@app-kivo.com from the email address of your Kivo account with the subject “Delete my Kivo account”. We delete the account and its data within 30 days and confirm by email.

3. Delete only some of your data

   You don’t have to delete your account to remove data. In the app you can delete individual food entries, weigh-ins, measurements and workouts, and withdraw your health-data consent in Profile. Coach messages are deleted automatically after 90 days. You can also email privacy@app-kivo.com to ask us to delete specific data.

What is kept

Nothing linked to you is kept after deletion, except data in our providers’ backups and logs until they expire on the provider’s normal cycle (generally days to a few weeks), as described in the Privacy Policy. If you have Kivo+, also cancel the subscription in your app store, because deleting the account does not cancel it.
